1957
April 18. Birth of Louis Bartholomew Tully, the second son of Andrew and Florence

1979
Louis Tully becomes a certified CPA

1983
June. Louis is posessed for a brief time by Vinz Clortho, the Keymaster, in the first major Ghostbusters case

1984
Louis parlays the exposure from the Ghostbusters' first case into fifteen minutes of fame as the spokesman for "Keymaster Cologne"

Between 1984 and 1988
Louis goes to night school and gets a degree in law; unsurprisingly, his emphasis is tax law.

1988
The Ghostbusters hire Louis to represent them in a court case, and afterwards he is hired as the official accountant and lawyer of the company. Louis begins a fling with secretary Janine Melnitz, unaware of her history with one of the Ghostbusters, Egon Spengler

1989
Janine ends her dalliance with Louis. By Halloween, she's resumed pursuing Egon. Louis is named Chief Financial Officer of the franchising body Ghostbusters International

Late 1991
Janine and Egon break up. Ghostbusters Inc. is dissolved once more, at Egon's instigation, leading to a major rift with the other Ghostbusters as well..

By Winston's wedding in December 1991, Janine begins a rebound romance with Louis Tully.

1993
Janine marries Louis Tully, but within months realizes it's a mistake. Still, her stubborn nature compels her to give him chance after chance over the next couple years. By 1996, they are living seperately and she files for divorce.

1997
Janine Melnitz's divorce from Louis Tully becomes official.

1998
With GBI once more activated, Louis returns to duty as CFO, save for a leave of absence in 2003-2004

2006
Louis meets librarian Samantha Jessome, finding--at long last--a meaningful relationship not spoiled by a member of Ghostbusters.
