Kylie's parents divorce. Steve is awarded uncontested custody of her. Steve's Grandmother, Rose Lockyer, becomes her primary caregiver.
Jack Ryan, Kylie's only real friend, disappears mysteriously.
1991
June. Kylie is briefly posessed by the Aquarius Avatar, but has no memory of the experience

Kylie graduates high school; he enrolls in New York City Community College, and gets in Parapsychology 101, taught by Professor Egon Spengler. Thusly, she and three other students--Eduardo Rivera, Roland Jackson, and Garrett Miller--become a new team of Ghostbusters under the supervision of Spengler and Ghostbuster secretary Janine Melnitz. Eduardo and Kylie are attracted to each other, but both deny it vigorously
Jack Ryan is discovered alive, but under the spell of a creature the Ghostbusters had defeated in 1985, the Grundle. Jack is freed from the Grundle and returned to his family.
1998
June. Shortly after the wedding of Egon and Janine Spengler, Eduardo and Kylie become involved.
2001
Kylie graduates college.
May 21. Conchita Rivera, the first child of Eduardo Rivera and Kylie Griffin, is born.
2004
February 13. Rose Rivera, the second child of Eduardo and Kylie, is born
2006
August 28. Kylie Griffen and Eduardo Rivera are married in a simple ceremony performed by a judge.
2007
Jeremy Davies, Kylie's maternal grandfather, dies and leaves her an inheritance. She uses the money to resume her interrupted academic career.
